Mr. Scott Francisco
Mr. Francisco is a twenty-year veteran here at Whitaker, and has taught mostly 5th/6th grade and combo classes. He attempts to make the classroom a place of practice and performance, and holds students to a high standard to ensure their maximum effort. In the classroom he strives to ensure students can master the material and use that mastery to help classmates; for, as Aristotle wrote, “Teaching is the highest form of understanding.” He is married and has two kids. He is an avid reader of both fiction and nonfiction, and follows politics and history closely. He enjoys music, cooking, and his friends among other things.
